Our own products

We don't only build this stuff for other people.

Alongside the client work, we design and ship our own apps. Same obsession with the design, the copy and whether anyone actually taps the button. It keeps us honest, and it means we're testing all of this with our own money instead of just yours.

  • Series laid out in proper reading order, with companion novellas marked separately
  • A bookshelf for everything you've finished, and a to-read list for what's next

  • Bring your library across from Goodreads or StoryGraph in one go
  • Free to use, and you don't need an account to start following a series

There's more in the pipeline. We've got a couple of other products part-built and a longer list of things we keep threatening to start. When they're ready to show, they'll turn up here.

Why we bother

Building our own products makes us better at yours.

It would be easier to just do the client work. Here's why we don't.

We're our own toughest client

Every landing page, onboarding flow and paywall in our own products gets the exact treatment we'd give yours. When something doesn't convert, there's nobody else to point at.

Design that survives real people

An app gets opened every day by people who did not read a single instruction. That's a much harsher test than a page someone visits once, and it makes the design a lot sharper.

We pay for our own traffic

We run ads to our own products too. So when we talk about cost per lead, conversion rates and what a funnel is actually worth, it isn't theory we read somewhere.

New ideas get tested here first

Fresh layouts, new copy angles, onboarding tricks we're not sure about yet. They get tried on our own product before we ever suggest them to a client.
